These are our posts offering advice on budget photography. You can get so much more than you think you can, if you spend your money wisely. Take some time to evaluate your needs and what concessions you’re prepared to make with your photography equipment. You can cut some corners on the way to great photography. Here are our posts giving you advice, tips and tricks for how to get the most from the low-cost options.

The world of photographic equipment changed so much in the last 10-15 years. Towards the end of the film era and coming into the DSLR era, cameras were PRICEY, and peripherals like flash and tripods were super expensive. They all still are, top of the range gear will still set you back, but now there is a huge middle-market, and more importantly for us here, there is a massive budget market and second hand market. Find out all about it in our posts dedicated to what budget photography gear to buy!

We’re all about that, that is where our whole ethos and mantra works. Here’s what we’re saying – if you are prepared to work just a little bit harder, and prepared to make concessions with your kit (don’t expect $1,000 functionality from a $50 piece of equipment) then you can fill your photography bag for peanuts! Not fill it with peanuts, but pay so little for your kit that other pros will be green with envy.

Follow our advice on budget photography and you can fail to achieve incredible results!
